Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled SSIS Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in developing, managing, and executing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) workflows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end ETL operations, including automation, scheduling, monitoring, and error handling.

The role involves working closely with the BI and Data Engineering teams to migrate existing Alteryx workflows into SSIS, ensuring stability, scalability, and efficiency across all ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

  • Migrate existing Alteryx workflows into SSIS, ensuring performance optimization and functional parity.

  • Implement automation and scheduling for SSIS workflows using SQL Agent Jobs or equivalent tools.

  • Develop and maintain error handling, logging, and notification mechanisms within SSIS packages.

  • Optimize SQL queries and transformations for better performance and reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DBA, BI, and Data teams) to ensure seamless data flow between systems.

  • Conduct unit testing and production validation for new and migrated workflows.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all SSIS processes and deployments.

  • Monitor production jobs and provide timely resolutions for failures or bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

  • Experience in ETL design, workflow management, and data validation techniques.

  • Familiarity with job scheduling tools (SQL Server Agent or similar).

  • Experience in error handling and debugging within SSIS packages.

  • Good understanding of data migration concepts and workflow orchestration.

  • Exposure to Alteryx workflows or prior experience with Alteryx is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
