Role Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and practices, and a strong foundation in scripting and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor infrastructure using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

  • Develop scripts in Python or Shell to automate routine tasks and system operations.

  • Manage and optimize Linux-based systems for performance and reliability.

  • Monitor logs and system health using Splunk and other observability tools.

  • Administer and support databases including PostgreSQL/EDB and Cassandra.

  • Operational support with extended after hours

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.

  • Proficiency in Python and/or Shell scripting.

  • Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration.

  • Familiarity with Splunk for log analysis and monitoring.

  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/EDB and Cassandra databases.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
