SAP FSCM Credit Management Consultant

Industry: Enterprise IT services and SAP implementation & advisory – focused on finance transformation and order-to-cash optimization across manufacturing, retail, and services sectors. We support large-scale SAP S/4HANA and ECC customers implementing FSCM Credit Management to improve working capital, automate credit decisions, and reduce risk.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and configure SAP FSCM Credit Management solutions: credit master data, limits, exposures, scoring and automatic credit checks aligned to business requirements.
  • Implement end-to-end integration between FSCM and SD/FI (order-to-cash) to ensure real-time credit evaluation for orders, deliveries and billing.
  • Develop BRF+ rules, BADI implementations and required interface designs; collaborate with ABAP teams to deliver custom validations and performance-optimized solutions.
  • Lead data migration and master-data activities (customer credit master, limits, exposure), using LSMW/BAPI/IDoc and validate data integrity pre- and post-migration.
  • Create and execute unit, integration and UAT test cases; prepare cutover plans, run training sessions, and author configuration & process documentation.
  • Provide go-live support, hypercare and post-production troubleshooting—fine-tune credit rules, resolve exposures and support continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

  • 5+ years hands-on experience in SAP FSCM Credit Management implementations or support (S/4HANA experience highly preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of SD and FI integration points, order-to-cash (OTC) processes, AR and credit exposure calculations.
  • Proven experience with BRF+, BADI/enhancements, IDoc/ALE, BAPI and data migration tools (LSMW or equivalents).
  • Demonstrable record of end-to-end project delivery (Blueprint → Realization → UAT → Go-live) in enterprise environments.
  • Ability to write clear functional specs, test scripts and to work closely with ABAP/technical teams; good analytical and SQL/data skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; available for on-site delivery in India.

Preferred

  • SAP certification in FSCM or S/4HANA Finance and prior experience with Collections or Dispute Management.
  • Exposure to global rollouts, multi-currency environments and complex rule-based credit strategies.
  • Experience automating monitoring and post-go-live tuning for credit processes and performance.
