Job Title: Deputy Manager – Bancassurance

Location: Kottayam & Kannur, Kerala

Salary: Up to ₹10 LPA

Education Qualification: Graduate (any discipline)

Experience: Minimum 7+ years in Life Insurance (with proven team handling experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Deputy Manager to lead and manage our Bancassurance operations in Kottayam and Kannur. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Life Insurance sector, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales performance through effective team management and strategic partnership with bank branches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive Life Insurance business through bank branches within the assigned region.
  • Lead, motivate, and monitor a team of Relationship Managers/Executives to achieve sales and business targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Bank Branch Managers and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective training, development, and performance evaluation of the team.
  • Analyze branch performance and implement strategies to enhance productivity and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical business practices.
  • Drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to maximize business potential.
  • Develop market insights and provide feedback to the management for strategic planning.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Life Insurance, preferably in Bancassurance channel.
  • Proven team handling experience with consistent performance track record.
  • No recent job jumps or employment gaps.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple branches efficiently.
