Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) with a strong background in backend development using Java Spring Boot and Microservices architecture, along with hands-on experience in cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to front-end technologies and containerization, making them capable of contributing across the full stack.

As an SSE, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications while mentoring junior team members and collaborating across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java Spring Boot microservices.
  • Work on cloud-native applications deployed on AWS or GCP.
  • Participate in system architecture design and technical decision-making.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Work with PostgreSQL for database design and optimization.
  • Build and manage Docker containers and support CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers using or other modern frameworks.
  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and performance.

Primary Skills:

  • Java (6+ years), Spring Boot
  • Microservices Architecture
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS and/or GCP

Secondary Skills:

  • Front-end: or any modern JavaScript framework (React/Angular acceptable)
  • Database: PostgreSQL
