Job Summary:
Digitide is seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Operations
professional to lead the operational and strategic planning efforts for our L&D function. The
L&D Operations Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of L&D
operations within the organization, ensuring smooth execution of learning programs,
managing systems and tools, and supporting compliance with internal processes and external
learning regulations. This role will also involve strategic planning to continuously improve
employee development initiatives and the overall learning experience.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in L&D program management,
operational efficiency, and a deep understanding of learning technologies and processes
within a corporate setting. Expertise in managing cross-functional teams, handling budgets,
and ensuring alignment with organizational learning goals will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management & Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of learning
programs, from needs assessment through to execution, evaluation, and reporting.
This includes managing schedules, venues, vendors, and materials.
- Data & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on key metrics to assess program
effectiveness, learner progress, and ROI. Provide actionable insights to senior leaders
to optimize learning interventions.
- System & Tool Management: Maintain and optimize L&D tools and platforms,
ensuring they are user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with organizational needs. This
includes LMS administration, training records, and integration of new technologies.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external
vendors to ensure smooth delivery of learning initiatives, including course design,
development, and content curation.
- Budget & Resource Management: Track and manage the L&D budget, ensuring
resources are allocated effectively across various learning programs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline L&D processes,
improve the learner experience, and implement best practices. Support the
development and scaling of L&D programs across different departments and teams.
- Change Management: Assist in managing the logistics and communication of new
L&D initiatives, ensuring smooth rollouts and buy-in from stakeholders.
- Employee Engagement & Support: Serve as the first point of contact for employees
and leaders seeking information or support with L&D programs, addressing queries
promptly and effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on
operations, program management, and systems administration.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
Education, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple, complex L&D projects
simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- LMS & Tools Expertise: Strong proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS),
HRIS, and learning-related software (e.g., Workday, Cornerstone, SAP Success
Factors, etc.)
- Analytical Skills: Data-driven mind-set with experience using data to inform
decision-making. Proficiency in MS Excel and/or other data analytics tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the
ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and find solutions in a fast-paced
environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment
across various L&D projects and initiatives.
- Change Management: Familiarity with change management principles and the
ability to manage the logistics of scaling and adopting new learning programs across
teams.
