Description
As the Lead Data Scientist, you will build upon your foundational data science skills to guide the team in creating and implementing cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support in solving complex business problems through data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and align data science initiatives with business requirements.
  • Oversee the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large-scale datasets, ensuring data quality and suitability for analysis.
  • Drive the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and predictive models to optimise decision-making processes.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis, exploratory data analysis, and statistical hypothesis testing to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Utilise advanced statistical techniques and mathematical modelling to predict outcomes and identify relationships between variables.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of data pipelines and automation processes for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Oversee the building and deployment of data-driven dashboards, visualisations, and interactive reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor model performance, conduct A/B testing, and fine-tune models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning models seamlessly into production systems.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience as a Data Scientist, with a minimum of 1 year of team handling experience.
  • Proven experience in building machine learning models.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques.
  • Experience working with Spatial Data is an added advantage.
