The Visa Assistant Manager / Team Leader will play a key role in managing the company's visa operations. This role involves supervising and handling a team of Visa Officers, ensuring efficient and compliant processing of applications, and maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate will bring 7–8 years of visa operations experience with proven team handling skills, and expertise in handling visas for preferred countries such as the UK, Europe, Australia, Singapore, and the UAE.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team Supervision & Handling: Lead, guide, and manage a team of Visa Officers, ensuring professionalism, accountability, and customer service excellence in all visa-related operations.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the end-to-end visa process within the company, including document verification, case assessment, and applicant interactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all visa processes comply with local and international immigration policies, staying updated with evolving guidelines and implementing them effectively.
- Case Management: Handle escalated and complex cases, providing informed decisions and recommendations, and supporting leadership in final approvals when required.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and review team performance, processing timelines, and accuracy of work; provide coaching, feedback, and corrective measures to ensure consistent productivity.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with government authorities, embassies, and consulates to facilitate visa processing and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Training & Development: Conduct training sessions, refresher programs, and mentoring to build team expertise and ensure continuous professional growth.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and support initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance service delivery, and implement best practices across company visa operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Compliance Team and senior leadership to align operational practices with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
- 7–8 years of experience in visa processing, immigration services, or related areas.
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven team handling / supervisory experience.
- Strong expertise in visa processes for the UK, Europe, Australia, Singapore, and the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of visa procedures and international immigration regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
