Job Description:

·      Engineering experience and understanding of technical drawings.

·      To provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.

·      Knowledge of Sheet metal, Casting & Plastic parts component manufacturing process.

·      Knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance Stack, DFMEA, Bill of Material.

·      To conduct detailed design review within team

·      Responsible for design verification of Sheetmetal & Plastic components.

·      Checking of child part /assembly drawings

·      Tolerance stack up / DVA and resolution of Gap / Flush issues.

·      Design release process (ECR & ECN).

·      Coordinate with other product groups (Required good Verbal, communication, and documentation skills).

·      Troubleshoot problems and devise solutions to resolve them

·      Research and keep up with the dynamic technology and trends in the mechanical design spectrum

·      Knowledge of electric vehicle & electric components will be added advantage.

·      Able to lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers.

·      Capable to oversee the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and products.

·      Ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

·      Should be able to develop and implement engineering processes and procedures.

·      Monitor and evaluate the performance of the engineering team.

·      Manage project resources and identify and mitigate project risks.

·      Schedule and conduct regular team meetings and provide updates to senior management.

·      Prepare and present project reports and documentation.

·      Ensure the safety and reliability of all mechanical systems and products.

Requirements

·      Bachelor's / master's degree in mechanical engineering.

·      Minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering.

·      Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

·      Strong organizational and time management skills.

·      Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

·      Ability to motivate and inspire a team.

·      Experience in budget management and resource allocation.

·      Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

·      Proven experience in project management and team leadership.

·      Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·      Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·      Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

·      Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
