Role Description

ABCD School of Psychology and Personal Development is looking for a
Counseling Intern
to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the field of mental health. This is a
full-time, onsite internship for 4 months
, with the potential for a
permanent position
based on performance.

Roles & responsibilities
:

  • Conduct
    one-on-one online counseling sessions
    to guide candidates on courses and encourage enrollment.
  • Address student concerns, facilitate
    effective communication
    between students, faculty, and administration.
  • Assist in
    school counseling programs
    , supporting students' academic, emotional, and social growth.
  • Collaborate with
    educational institutes and healthcare sectors
    to provide counseling and training programs.
  • Organize
    workshops, events, and group training
    to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Participate in
    case conferences, meetings, and administrative tasks
    as assigned.
  • Develop and contribute to
    mental health podcasts
    and counseling awareness initiatives.
  • Gather
    student feedback
    on course content and learning experiences for continuous improvement.
  • Promote
    academic integrity and student participation
    in educational activities.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or completed a Master's degree in Psychology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathy and active listening skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and create a safe space for clients
  • Basic knowledge of counseling techniques and mental health issues
  • Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
