Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HCI (Nutanix) and Server & Storage Implementation Engineer with over 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure solutions along with traditional server and storage systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, install, configure, and support Nutanix Platform (HCI) solutions.
  • Implement and manage server hardware including rackmount, blade, and virtualized environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot storage solutions such as SAN, NAS, and DAS.
  • Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance on servers and storage devices.
  • Monitor system performance and capacity planning to ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration of server and storage solutions with networking and virtualization technologies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Nutanix clusters, servers, and storage issues.
  • Document configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and backup/recovery testing.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technology updates related to Nutanix and storage solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing and supporting Nutanix HCI environments.
  • Strong understanding of server hardware (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS, etc.) and storage systems (NetApp,).
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware,AHV).
  • Knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS).
  • Familiarity with server OS installation and troubleshooting (Windows Server, Linux).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and documentation abilities.
