Project Manager I, Kroll Restructuring Administration is responsible for participating in the planning and implementation of tasks required by our clients and monitoring and reporting on the progress of associates by executing and completing such tasks. The Project Manager is expected to contribute to the progress and execution of the team he/she is monitoring by effectively tracking project progress, compiling data and presenting reports to Senior Managers of Business Operations. The Project Manager must be able to successfully coordinate and manage concurrent projects while being able to seamlessly pivot and adjust as client needs demand. The successful candidate must have the necessary professional and team leadership background to successfully monitor, track and manage the workflows and progress of multiple associates and client deliverables in a fast-paced operations environment.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide project management oversight for team members, with a mix of junior, mid-level and senior team skill sets to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Ensure client and project requirements are documented, monitored and met with the highest quality and accuracy by verifying and communicating routinely with internal partners
  • Consistently provide proactive communication to Senior Consultants, Senior Project Managers, Directors, Senior Directors and fellow team members
  • Maintain appropriate departmental staffing, resource levels and core skills to perform essential services which satisfy project requirements and deliverables
  • Ensure divisional standard operating procedures are adhered to
  • Serve as an escalation point for all project questions, problems and complex technical decisions

Hands-on Skills & experiences:

  • Knowledge of resource management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly on challenging, complex, and difficult issues to develop solutions that address root causes.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables.
  • Motivated to build relationships at executive levels with clients, internal stakeholders and vendor groups.
  • Familiarity with drafting functional requirements for web form layouts and input/validation logic rules.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience planning and managing large and small projects; interacting directly with clients is a plus
  • PMP or certification or equivalent highly desired
  • Legal, financial or technology industry background a plus.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience in customer and client service
  • Demonstrated ability to complete multiple, deadline-sensitive tasks concurrently
  • Experience working with diverse teams.
  • Preferred: Project management tools like MS Project, ServiceNow, , Salesforce
  • Preferred: Strong MS office skills like Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
