Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in account planning for APAC/EMEA clients, focusing on acquiring new SaaS/Education Clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and expanding UpGrad Enterprise's market presence.

Work Location: Delhi/Bangalore/Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.
  • Hunting and Acquisition: Proactively seek out and engage potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to target and secure net new logos.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Needs Assessment: Understand clients' business needs and challenges to tailor UpGrad Enterprise's solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Presentations and Demos: Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of UpGrad Enterprise's offerings.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales quotas.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and progress towards targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and account management/planning, with a proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing new clients based out in APAC/EMEA region
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong hunting and prospecting skills with the ability to identify and engage potential clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex solutions to meet client needs.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the online education industry and SaaS based enterprise solutions is preferred.
