Azure .NET Architect (Solution Design, Presales)

Location : Bangalore

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure .NET Architect with 13+ years of expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Azure services, .NET architecture, and cloud-based application development. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on development experience, and the ability to drive architectural decisions aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Presales & Business Development

  2. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand client requirements and propose tailored Azure-based solutions.

  3. Lead technical presentations, solution demos, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for prospective clients.
  4. Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, solution estimations, and proposal development.

  5. Translate business needs into technical solutions that demonstrate value and feasibility.

  6. Solution Design & Architecture

  7. Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure enterprise applications using Azure PaaS services and the .NET ecosystem.

  8. Architect cloud-native and hybrid applications leveraging Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, and microservices.

  9. Ensure best practices in application architecture, cloud adoption, and DevOps automation.

  10. Technical Leadership & Development

  11. Guide development teams in implementing high-performance .NET applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, and modern frameworks.

  12. Define best practices for API design, authentication, and integration with third-party services.

  13. Stay updated on emerging technologies and ensure architectural improvements for scalability and maintainability.

  14. Integration & Security

  15. Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud applications with Azure Active Directory, role-based access control (RBAC), and data security best practices.

  16. Optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost efficiency and high availability.

  17. Ensure compliance with security standards, data governance, and cloud security best practices.

  18. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  19. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during architectural reviews and technical discussions.

  20. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and DevOps engineers, to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

  • Proven expertise in Azure PaaS services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and API Management.
  • Strong experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, C#, and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM/Bicep/Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or Event Hubs.

Programming & Development Skills:

  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and frontend frameworks (Angular/React is a plus).
  • Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB), and caching strategies.
  • Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API development best practices.
