Role: SAP Lead - Technology

Reports To:  Head Digital and Enterprise Applications

Job Location: Mumbai, Wadala

Experience Required:

6-10 years of experience in implementing and managing SAP Applications preferably in Manufacturing domain

This position of Techno functional SAP Lead is responsible for Managing SAP suite of Application and be a part of the Technology Center of Excellence CoE.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated SAP Lead having experience of SAP ECC as well as S/4 Hana suite of applications to oversee the design, implementation, and support of solutions. The ideal candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of SAP architecture, project management skills, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex enterprise resource planning (ERP) projects. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership capabilities to deliver transformative SAP initiatives.

The person will be a part of the corporate IT Team, handling SAP related responsibilities for Trading and Manufacturing business. He will be a part of the technology Center of Excellence (CoE) team ensuring proper solution and technology upkeep of the application. For daily operational/functional activities it is a simple and flat structure and has aspects of matrix or project organization.  This role demands the person to be comfortable with non-hierarchical technology department, the focus being performance teams.  On a project, reporting relationships will vary based on assigned role.  All team members in the Technology Teamwork for multiple business verticals within the organization, though they would be assigned to the central corporate function.

Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership - Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, including planning, blueprinting, realization, testing, and go-live support.
• Solution Design and Architecture - Perform system analysis and recommend improvements to enhance performance and scalability. Design solution that align with industry best practices. Ensure integration of SAP with other enterprise systems.
• Stakeholder Management - Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
• Team Coordination and Development Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives. Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• System Optimization and Support - Oversee troubleshooting of complex issues and provide expert-level support. Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation and Training – Ensure maintenance of detailed project documentation, including technical and user manuals.

Skills Required:

• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, modules, and functionalities.
• Hands-on experience with SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, or others, depending on the project focus.
• Proficiency in SAP integration tools, data migration techniques, and Fiori applications
• Hands-on experience of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA
• Experience of migration from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA including Unicode conversions
• SAP S/4HANA certification is highly desirable
• .
• Hands-on experience with data models, configuration, and customization.
• Experience with Group Reporting and Consolidation, Analytics integration via Datasphere, CPI Integration layer, BTP, SAP Integration with Azure Cloud, SSO setups, Fiori Apps

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Additional certification in specific areas of tools and Project management desirable
