Job Title: Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in database development, performance tuning, and automation using UNIX shell scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining database applications to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced SQL and PL/SQL programs including procedures, packages, and functions.
  • Perform SQL performance tuning and query optimization to enhance database efficiency.
  • Implement and manage Oracle job scheduling using DBMS_SCHEDULER or similar tools.
  • Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts for automation of database and system-level tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of database components.
  • Use tools such as GIT, SQL Developer, Putty, Jenkins, Octane, and SonarQube for configuration management, code deployment, and quality assurance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database performance, integrity, and reliability issues.
