Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹80,000 per month

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced PYP English Teacher to join our IB curriculum-based school. The ideal candidate should have strong command over English language teaching, a deep understanding of the PYP framework, and the ability to create a learner-centered, inquiry-based environment for young students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver English lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum.
  • Develop inquiry-based learning experiences that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Create detailed lesson plans, learning engagements, and assessments as per PYP guidelines.
  • Promote reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through innovative methods.
  • Maintain portfolios, documentation, and records of student progress.
  • Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary learning projects.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in PYP planning sessions, training, and school events.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development and progress.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of the IB PYP philosophy and teaching approaches (preferred).
  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Creative teaching methodology suitable for primary learners.
  • Classroom management skills with a nurturing and patient approach.
  • Ability to design engaging, inquiry-driven lessons.
  • Comfort with technology-based teaching tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
