Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Japanese Translator at Suzuki Motor Gujarat Private Limited, located in Ahmedabad. The Japanese Translator will handle day-to-day tasks including translating documents and materials between Japanese and English, providing interpretation support during meetings and communications, and ensuring language accuracy and cultural appropriateness. The role requires collaboration with various teams to facilitate smooth communication between Japanese and Indian colleagues. The role also involves assisting with written and verbal communication to support operational processes and other organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Japanese Translation and Japanese to English language translation
• Strong Communication and Interpreting skills, particularly in facilitating cross-cultural interactions
• Knowledge of professional terminologies used in manufacturing or automotive industries is an advantage
• Ability to work seamlessly in an on-site environment as part of a collaborative and diverse team
• Certification in the Japanese language (e.g., JLPT N2 or higher) is preferred
• Previous experience in translation or interpretation in a professional setting
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
