Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Accountant
with expertise in accounting standards, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. The candidate must have strong experience in handling full accounting operations, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG setup, and should be capable of independently managing the accounts function.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

  • Handle all accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll, inventory).
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual
    financial statements & MIS reports
    .
  • Ensure timely
    book closure
    , reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Manage cash flow, fund flow, budgeting, and forecasting.


Compliance & Taxation:

  • Ensure timely filing of
    GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT
    and statutory returns.
  • Manage GST audits, statutory audits & coordinate with external auditors.
  • Prepare income tax workings and ensure compliance with Indian tax laws.


Costing & Manufacturing Accounts:

  • Oversee product costing, BOM verification & consumption analysis.
  • Coordinate with plant team for stock reconciliations and audits.
  • Monitor inventory movement and prepare costing MIS.


Vendor & Payment Management:

  • Verify vendor invoices, POs & service agreements.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and payment processing.
  • Manage vendor outstanding statements.


Internal Controls & Systems:

  • Implement financial SOPs and internal controls.
  • Work on ERP/Tally Prime accounting systems.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.

Skills Required:

  • Strong command of
    Tally Prime / ERP systems
  • Excellent knowledge of
    GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, PT
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, communication & team coordination abilities
  • Ability to handle independent accounting responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CA / Inter CA
    preferred
  • Experience in
    manufacturing / FMCG / cosmetics / perfume
    industry is an advantage
