The Role: SDE III – Android Developer

As a senior member of our Android Engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and building
world-class mobile experiences

that empower millions of Indians to trade, invest, and grow their wealth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Architecture:
    Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance Android applications.
  • End-to-End Development:
    Own features from concept to deployment with a focus on performance and intuitive UI/UX.
  • Code Quality:
    Maintain clean, testable, and efficient code, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Innovation:
    Implement modern Android technologies such as
    Jetpack
    ,
    Kotlin Coroutines
    , and
    Compose
    .
  • Mentorship:
    Guide and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of learning and technical excellence.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Define metrics, monitor app health, and optimize for speed, stability, and scalability.

Who You Are:

  • 4–7 years of hands-on
    Android development experience
    .
  • Strong command of
    Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack libraries
    .
  • AI-native mindset
    — leveraging AI tools for faster development, debugging, and optimization.
  • Proven record of delivering large-scale Android apps with millions of users.
  • Deep understanding of
    MVVM/MVI architecture
    , dependency injection, and reactive programming.
  • Skilled in performance tuning, multithreading, and memory management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, "figure-it-out" attitude.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Computer Science
    or related field preferred.
