Role Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and disciplined Trade Analyst to join our core Market Intelligence team. This role is central to our mission of providing superior market insights. You will be responsible for conducting deep market research, developing and optimizing quantitative trading strategies, and validating our AI-driven signals with real-world trading expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct in-depth fundamental and technical research on digital assets, macroeconomic trends, and on-chain metrics.

• Produce daily and weekly research reports on market dynamics, volatility, and emerging opportunities.

Strategy Development & Optimization

• Design, backtest, and refine quantitative trading strategies for spot, futures, and arbitrage markets.

• Continuously monitor and optimize strategy performance based on live market data, adjusting for risk and maximizing alpha.

• Collaborate closely with the data science team to translate trading logic into actionable model improvements.

AI & Signal Validation

• Act as the human-in-the-loop, critically assessing and validating trade signals generated by our predictive AI platforms (e.g., TradingView, proprietary tools).

• Provide qualitative context to quantitative data, ensuring insights are robust, timely, and actionable.

Performance & Risk Analytics

• Track and analyze key performance indicators such as PnL, drawdowns, and Sharpe ratios.

• Maintain detailed trade records and conduct post-trade analysis to inform future strategy improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have (Aligned with Target Profile)

• 3+ years of professional experience in cryptocurrency trading and analysis, with strong expertise in spot, futures, and arbitrage strategies.

• Expert-level proficiency in TradingView, with a solid grasp of technical analysis, chart patterns, and indicators.

• Proven experience in strategy design, backtesting, and optimization, with disciplined PnL and risk management practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and derive actionable insights.

• Excellent communication skills to convey complex strategies and market perspectives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good-to-Have

• Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) for strategy automation or data analysis.

• Familiarity with Web3, DeFi protocols, and on-chain analytics tools (e.g., Nansen, Dune Analytics).

• Previous experience in a research, community-facing, or trade desk support role.

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
