Role Overview
The Senior Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our recruitment division, ensuring seamless workflow, productivity, compliance, and process optimization. You will serve as a key leader responsible for driving operational efficiency, enhancing recruiter performance, managing KPIs, supporting delivery teams, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the recruitment and staffing teams.
- Build, implement, and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) across sourcing, screening, client delivery, onboarding, and compliance.
- Develop strategies to improve productivity, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies, attendance standards, and performance expectations.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and coach recruiters, team leads, and coordinators to achieve targets.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide continuous feedback, and develop training plans.
- Foster a healthy, collaborative, accountable, and high-performance work culture.
Recruitment Delivery & Client Support
- Ensure high-quality submissions, interviews, offers, and starts for all client requirements.
- Work closely with account managers and clients to understand hiring needs and delivery expectations.
- Track open requisitions, forecast hiring needs, and allocate resources efficiently.
Process & Performance Management
- Monitor daily/weekly KPIs, recruiter productivity, pipeline performance, and overall delivery metrics.
- Identify gaps and recommend improvements in workflow, tools, and systems
- Implement quality checks across candidate screening, documentation, onboarding, and compliance.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare operational dashboards, recruiter scorecards, and performance reports for senior leadership.
- Analyze trends to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy of data in ATS/CRM systems and maintain updated operational logs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, onboarding, finance, and compliance teams to ensure smooth candidate lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with leadership on operational challenges, resource planning, and organizational improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in recruitment operations or staffing operations management.
- Strong understanding of the US staffing lifecycle, including sourcing, VMS, compliance, onboarding, and client delivery.
- Experience managing teams of recruiters or delivery specialists.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with ATS/CRM systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT recruitment or technical staffing.
- Prior experience with offshore/onshore recruitment teams.
- Knowledge of process automation, workflow optimization, and operational scaling.
