Quality Controller – Warehouse

Responsibilities:
- Inspect inbound materials, packaging, and finished goods received at the warehouse against purchase orders and quality standards.
- Conduct random sampling and quality checks on inventory to ensure compliance with company specifications.
- Verify expiry dates, batch numbers, labeling, barcoding, and packaging integrity before stock is accepted into inventory.
- Perform outbound QC before dispatch to ensure correct items, quantities, and quality are shipped.
- Record, track, and report quality issues, damages, or discrepancies to the procurement/operations team.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve quality complaints and return/replacement of defective goods.
- Maintain updated QC reports, inspection logs, and non-conformance reports in ERP/WMS systems.
- Ensure warehouse processes adhere to SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Work closely with warehouse, supply chain, and logistics teams to minimize rejections and customer complaints.
- Assist in periodic audits and drive continuous improvement in warehouse quality processes.
Requirements:
- 4–5 years of experience in quality control/quality inspection in a warehouse, FMCG, retail, or e-commerce environment.
- Strong understanding of QC processes, sampling methods, and inventory checks.
- Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors, warehouse staff, and operations teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, or related field preferred.
