Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Service Engineer based in Pune. The Technical Service Engineer will provide technical support, diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, and perform system testing and maintenance for renewable energy projects. Responsibilities include collaborating with design teams to ensure accurate project execution, overseeing equipment installation and evaluation, and providing technical guidance to clients. The role also involves monitoring and optimizing system performance while adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills in system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Proficiency in renewable energy systems such as solar PV and battery storage
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including installation and repair
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and client relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical abilities for system performance monitoring and optimization
  • Knowledge of safety practices, regulatory compliance, and industry standards in renewable energy
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in renewable energy or technical services (e.g., NABCEP) are a plus
  • Preference for candidates with 2-5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector
