Job Description - VXF Animator - Mid

Location: Mumbai / Bangalore

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level VFX Animator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating captivating and realistic visual effects animations for a variety of projects. With a solid understanding of animation principles, excellent technical skills, and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and visual style guidelines.
  • Create high-quality, dynamic, and visually stunning animations for film, television, or other media projects.
  • Work closely with other artists, including modelers, riggers, and compositors, to integrate animations seamlessly into scenes.
  • Create high-quality character and creature animations for visual effects sequences in accordance with project requirements and artistic direction.
  • Take direction from senior artists and supervisors to refine animations and achieve desired visual effects.
  • Utilize strong understanding of anatomy, movement, and acting principles to craft believable and compelling performances for characters and creatures.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to animation production.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4-9 years of experience as a VFX Animator with expertise in character and creature animation for visual effects, with a strong demo reel showcasing proficiency in this area.
  • Proficiency in animation software such as Maya, Unreal Engine, or Blender.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, and movement.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with artists and other team members.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality visual effects animations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
