Description

Responsibilities:

  • Developing a safe working environment.

  • Planning and execution of developmental work.
  • Planning and execution of cost reduction of products.
  • Handling inspection of finished goods.
  • Control on incoming raw materials and timely evaluation.
  • Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
  • Reduction in quality complaints of products.
  • Customization of products.
  • Customer/ supplier visit.
  • Adherence to ISO, QMS and Calderys systems.
  • Coordination with Marketing / R & D / Project /Application and Supply Chain.
  • Training subordinates and monitoring their performance. 

    Essential:
  • B.Tech in Ceramic Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control within the refractory monolithics or brick industry

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and protocols relevant to refractory manufacturing

    Preferred:

  • In-depth knowledge of ceramics and refractories
  • Familiarity with refractory testing and characterization techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Understanding of mineralogy, crystallography, and phase diagrams
  • Knowledge of refractory property–performance correlation and installation techniques
  • Hands-on experience with testing and characterization tools used in refractory quality assessment
  • Leadership qualities, including team-building and cross-functional coordination
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively
