Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Sr. Checker. The Sr. Checker will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of content across various formats. Daily tasks include reviewing and verifying translations, proofreading texts, checking video subtitles, overseeing pre-press publishing materials, and ensuring compliance with client specifications.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in proofreading and editing
  • Experience in translation review and verification
  • Skills in reviewing video subtitles and voice-over synchronization
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in the media or publishing industry is a plus
