About Us

Chotanagpur Kalyan Niketan (CKN) is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to creating a
safe, inclusive, and empowering environment
for children, women, and marginalized communities in rural Jharkhand.

With the support of the
Azim Premji Foundation
, CKN has launched the
Rural Crèche Initiative
, providing
safe, nurturing, and learning-friendly spaces
for children in remote tribal villages of
Simdega
.

We are looking for a
highly motivated and experienced Program Manager
to lead this initiative and ensure its successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the
  Rural Crèche Initiative
  .
• Supervise and guide the project team, ensuring effective coordination across multiple crèche centers.
• Develop strategies to enhance
  early childhood care, education, and nutrition
  outcomes.
• Liaise with government departments, funding agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee financial management, reporting, and compliance for the project.
• Monitor field operations and conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Qualification:
  Master's degree in
  Social Work, Child Development, Education, Public Health, Nutrition
  , or a related field.
• Experience:
  Minimum
  5 years
  of experience in program management, preferably in
  early childhood development, health, education, or community initiatives
  .
• Technical Skills:
• Strong project planning, budgeting, and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in
  MS Office
  tools; familiarity with monitoring and evaluation systems is desirable.
• Language Skills:
  Fluency in
  Hindi
  is mandatory; knowledge of
  English
  is an advantage.

• Willingness to travel extensively within rural Simdega.

Compensation

Salary will be
commensurate with experience
and as per organizational norms. Travel and field allowances will be provided based on policy.
