Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical systems, control panels, motors, and circuits.
  • Inspect and test electrical systems using tools such as multi meters, insulation testers, and thermal imaging.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments (production, mechanical maintenance) to schedule and perform maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
  • Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components.
  • Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • [X+] years of experience in electrical maintenance (preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, utilities, etc.]).
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Electrical Safety or Maintenance (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA).
  • Experience with automation systems, SCADA, or PLC programming.
  • Hands-on experience with energy management systems.

Working Conditions:
