Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits in accordance with relevant auditing standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets in line with Accounting Standards and Companies Act requirements.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of general ledgers, subsidiary ledgers, and trial balances.
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and ensure reconciliation with books of accounts.
  • Calculate and file TDS returns, prepare TDS challans, and maintain records as per compliance norms.
  • Assist in Income Tax computations, advance tax workings, and preparation of return filing documents.
  • Support MIS reporting, variance analysis, and preparation of management dashboards.
  • Participate in stock audits, physical verifications, and reporting of discrepancies.
  • Help in finalization of accounts and coordination with auditors for timely completion of statutory requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all compliance, audit, and financial records.
  • Liaise with clients to collect data, clarify queries, and ensure timely submission of required documents.
  • Ensure all filings and documentation adhere to SEBI, RBI, and ROC regulations where applicable.
  • Identify process gaps and assist seniors in implementing corrective measures or internal controls.
  • Stay updated with amendments in GST laws, Income Tax regulations, and accounting standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS/IND-AS) and Statutory Compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in Tally ERP, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Validation), and accounting software.
  • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify financial discrepancies.
  • Good understanding of audit procedures, control testing, and financial reporting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize work, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Ethical, professional, and committed to maintaining confidentiality of client information.
