Function Overview
GIC Sales Strategy & Intelligence team partners with our global General Mills sales teams in providing them with analytical horsepower and enable business continuity so they can focus on core activities – Selling, driving distribution gains and optimizing merchandising plans to deliver sales volume targets. We enable customer, pricing & promotion strategies across the global markets through our focused capabilities of Sales Execution, Trade & Strategic Revenue Management and Category Management. Teams within function are aligned to the above focused capabilities for each of our markets and each team member specializes in domains of Advanced Analytics, Visual Insights & Planogramming.

Purpose of the role
The Content Analyst will be responsible for ensuring all product detail page (PDP) content on is accurate, complete, and optimized for conversion. This role plays a key part in maintaining digital excellence across our online portfolio—bridging analytics, content quality, and competitive intelligence to improve the consumer shopping experience and drive sales performance
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Content Management & Accuracy
· Audit and update content on to ensure product titles, images, copy, and attributes are accurate and aligned with brand and retailer requirements.
· Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve content gaps, inconsistencies, or compliance issues.
· Own regular content refresh cycles to maintain relevance and accuracy across priority SKUs.
Content Performance Monitoring
· Leverage Scintilla data to track and report content health metrics (e.g., completeness, accuracy, and quality scores).
· Analyze PDP view and drop-off rates within Scintilla to identify underperforming content and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Competitive Benchmarking
· Regularly review competitive product content and identify trends, best practices, and whitespace opportunities.
· Summarize competitive insights and share actionable recommendations with the business and marketing teams to inform content strategy and prioritization.
Collaboration & Communication
· Work closely with Walmart eCommerce, Customer Marketing, and sales teams to align content updates with overall business objectives and retailer campaigns.
· Provide insights and visual summaries of content performance and competitive landscape during monthly business reviews or digital check-ins.
Requirements
Education – Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Business or English, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in an agency or similar role, online marketing or eCommerce operationsKnowledge of keyword placement and SEO best practices.
