Role & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and design Mendix solutions.
  • Develop and configure Mendix applications using Mendix Studio Pro, including domain models, microflows, and custom widgets.
  • Integrate Mendix solutions with external systems via REST, SOAP, and OData APIs, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
  • Implement best practices for performance optimization, error handling, and application security within the Mendix platform.
  • Conduct unit testing, bug fixes, and deployment activities using Mendix Cloud or on-premise environments.
  • Mentor junior developers and drive continuous improvement of development processes and coding standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Mendix development with Mendix Studio and Mendix Studio Pro.
  • Proficiency in modeling domain models, microflows, nanoflows, and designing page layouts.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript for custom logic and widget development.
  • Experience integrating Mendix applications with REST, SOAP, and OData web services.
Preferred
  • Experience with Mendix Cloud deployment, DevOps pipelines, and containerization (Docker/AWS/Azure).
  • Familiarity with Mendix security model configuration, performance tuning, and automated testing frameworks.
