Position: Senior Architect (Cultural / Institutional Projects)Department: DesignReports to: Team Leader / Project ArchitectLocation: ThaneExperience: 5-8 years Role Overview:The Senior Architect is responsible for leading the design and execution of architectural projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and technical accuracy.

This role involves collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external consultants to develop creative, functional, and aesthetically refined solutions. The Senior Architect also plays a key role in mentoring junior team members and supporting project delivery. Key Responsibilities:1.

Design Development & ExecutionLead the design process from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to project objectives and design quality. Prepare and review architectural drawings, plans, and technical details. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Contribute to creative design solutions, material selection, and detailing. Develop 3D visualizations, presentations, and design concepts.2. Research and AnalysisPerform detailed research on historical references, architectural precedents, and site context.

Integrate research insights into the design narrative and visual language. Use research findings to propose innovative yet culturally sensitive design solutions. Identify locally sourced materials and traditional building methods.

Ensure material selections align with the cultural and aesthetic vision. Compile and organize research data into presentations and reports. Use research-backed insights to strengthen client presentations and design reviews.3.

Project Coordination & CollaborationCollaborate with Project Architects and Team Leaders to align on design intent and project goals. Coordinate with external consultants (MEP, structural, etc.) to integrate their work into the overall design. Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and presentations.

Address technical issues and provide design solutions during the project lifecycle.4. Technical Expertise & Quality ControlPrepare and review detailed working drawings and construction documents. Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Identify and resolve design-related issues on-site. Ensure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of design documentation.5. Deliverable Planning & ExecutionPlan and manage the timely delivery of design documentation, drawings, and presentation materials.

Ensure that project phases are completed on schedule and in line with quality standards. Collaborate with Project Architects to maintain consistency in scheduling across project phases. Ensure deliverables from external consultants (MEP, structural, etc.) are received on time.

Flag any scheduling discrepancies to the Team Leader and assist in resolving them. Review deliverables for accuracy and quality before submission. Ensure all design outputs meet the scheduled deadlines without compromising quality.

6. Team Support & MentorshipMentor and guide Junior Architects, providing technical support and design direction. Share expertise on design principles, construction methods, and industry trends.

Support the team in meeting project deadlines and maintaining quality standards.7. Client & Stakeholder InteractionSupport client presentations and participate in design discussions. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide design solutions.

Ensure client feedback is incorporated into design revisions. Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.5-10 years of experience in architectural design and project execution. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, D5 Render, Enscape, Lumion, and other design visualization tools, M.S. Word suit, Adobe SuiteStrong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.

Excellent design, technical detailing, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and consultants. Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Key Result Area (KRAs):Accuracy and quality of design documentation.
