Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Coke Oven CDCP Operation Shift Incharge(Executive Engineer) at NMDC Steel Limited. The role is based in Odisha, India. The Coke Oven Shift Incharge will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the coke oven battery's operation, ensuring the production of high-quality coke, and observing safety protocols. Daily tasks include handling raw materials, maintaining the temperature and pressure in the ovens, carrying out inspections and maintenance, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and maintaining coke ovens and related machinery
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in industrial settings
• Mechanical skills for maintaining and repairing equipment
• Basic understanding of chemistry and materials handling
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in high-temperature environments
• Successful completion of relevant vocational or technical training is preferred
• Previous experience in a steel manufacturing environment is a plus
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
