We are looking for a proactive Merchandiser to coordinate between buyers, suppliers, and the production team. The role involves product development, costing, sourcing, order execution, and quality assurance, ensuring timely delivery of products that meet buyer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with buyers regarding product specifications, prices, and approvals.
  • Develop samples and coordinate approvals before bulk production.
  • Source fabrics, trims, and raw materials from vendors/suppliers.
  • Prepare costing sheets, quotations, and handle price negotiations.
  • Create and manage time & action plans (T&A) for order execution.
  • Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics teams.
  • Monitor order status and ensure on-time shipment and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and buyer requirements.
  • Handle buyer correspondence and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Research market trends and suggest new product ideas.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in merchandising (garments, textiles, or home furnishings).
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, printing, dyeing, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders at once.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
