Role & responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments by analysing financial data, market trends, and operational processes.
  • Evaluate credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and other relevant risk factors.
  • Interpret and analyse large datasets to identify patterns and trends related to risk exposure.
  • Develop and maintain risk monitoring tools to track key risk indicators.
  • Generate regular reports for management, highlighting emerging risks and providing insights for decision-making.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure the organization's adherence to relevant laws and standards.
  • Daily monitoring and reporting of regulatory limits
  • Calculation of key risk parameters like VAR, Key ratios and stress testing of portfolio
  • Assist in preparing reports for regulatory authorities and participate in regulatory audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather risk data and to design and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to evaluate the organization's resilience under adverse conditions.
  • Assisting CRO in preparing the Board presentation, Committee meeting packs and regulatory meetings

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics along with master degree or equivalent ( MBA, CA, CFA and FRM)

  • 3-4 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the context of pension fund management, mutual fund or Insurance
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within other functions.
