Role Summary:

Responsible for creating innovative, hand-sketched jewellery designs that align with Kumaris brand aesthetics and customer preferences across gold, diamond, and demi-fine categories.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop hand-drawn concepts based on briefs from design and merchandising teams.


• Create theme-based collections blending modern, minimalist, and traditional motifs.


• Work closely with CAD designers and craftsmen to translate sketches into production ready models.


• Maintain design archives, detailing materials, weights, and stone settings.


• Research global trends, gemstones, and finishes relevant to the brands direction.


• Support custom design requests and limited-edition capsule concepts.

Requirements:


• Degree/Diploma in Jewellery Design from a recognized institute.


• 4–8 years' experience in manual design for fine or luxury jewellery brands.


• Strong sketching, rendering, and visualization skills (metal textures, diamond cuts, proportions).


• Deep understanding of production feasibility and finishing details.


• Creative, detail-oriented, and aligned with premium brand sensibilities.
