Job Description

Key Purpose

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our global IT team. This role will support the design, maintenance, and improvement of our cloud-first infrastructure, primarily built on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Meraki networking technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with our London-based infrastructure team to ensure high availability, performance, and security of our systems and services.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a collaborative mindset. The Mumbai-based engineer will help extend support coverage across time zones, contribute to project delivery, and play a key role in maintaining operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
• Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure components such as virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services
• Support and monitor Meraki network devices (firewalls, switches, access points), ensuring connectivity and performance across sites
• Assist in the implementation of infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments
• Monitor system performance and availability using appropriate tools; respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the London-based team to ensure consistent infrastructure standards and documentation
• Contribute to automation and scripting efforts to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
• Maintain accurate records of configurations, changes, and procedures
• Participate in an on-call rotation or extended support coverage as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications
:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT or related technical degree
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, VLANs)
• Knowledge of identity and access management (Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access)
• Accreditation with Microsoft / Cisco

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Meraki dashboard and network troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, VLANs)
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools
• Knowledge of identity and access management (Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access)

Non-technical skills
:

• Ability to manage and work concurrently on multiple assignments
• Ability to work well within a team and also independently
• Excellent problem solving/root cause analysis skills required
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Experience
:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in an Infrastructure or Systems engineering role
• Minimum 3 years experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure
