Job Summary:

A dedicated and experienced Home Cook responsible for preparing nutritious, well-balanced, and delicious meals in a private household. Ensures high standards of hygiene, taste, and presentation while accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions. Plans menus, shops for ingredients, and maintains a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan daily, weekly, or monthly menus based on client/family preferences, dietary needs, and seasonal ingredients
• Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including snacks and special dietary items (e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian, diabetic-friendly)
• Shop for groceries and manage pantry inventory
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen, appliances, and tools
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in food handling and storage
• Adapt meals based on feedback or specific requests from household members
• Occasionally cater for family gatherings, small events, or holidays
• Manage time effectively to ensure meals are served on schedule
• Monitor food budgets and provide cost-effective meal solutions

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cook (home, private chef, or professional setting)
• Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
• Ability to follow recipes and also create dishes from scratch
• Good understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Flexibility to accommodate changes in schedule or menu

Preferred:

• Formal culinary training or food safety certification (optional but a plus)
• Experience with meal prepping and portion control
• Ability to cook for children or elderly family members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
