Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor

The incumbent shall be responsible for Teaching at Graduate level in Commerce & Management along with Co-ordination, Development of respective Programme of the university.

Qualifying Criteria – PROFESSOR:

a. The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a Master's Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.

AND

Minimum 10 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

AND

Minimum Research Score of 120

AND

Successfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.

b. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, of which at least 3 years shall be equivalent to Associate Professor.

OR

In the event, the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:

• A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master's Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline

OR

2.A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two years full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.

AND

c. The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and years' managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.

d. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.

Qualifying Criteria – ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:

a. The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master's Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.

AND

Minimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

AND

Minimum Research Score of 75

b. Minimum of 8 years of full-time experience in teaching/research/industry* out of which at least 3 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.

OR

In the event, that the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:

• A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master's Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline

OR

1. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two-year full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.

AND

c. The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and eight years of managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.

d. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.

Qualifying Criteria – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:

a. Ph.D. is mandatory with a minimum of 55% in Master's Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline

AND

b. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

c. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable :

i) Ph.D. preferred with 2 years of experience.

ii) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.

Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed.

Pay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; but will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
