Job Title/Designation: Engineer / Senior Engineer (Design) (Plastic Injection Moulding Design)

Job Description:

1. Education Diploma in Tool Design / Post Diploma Tool Design / Diploma in Tool and Die Making / B.E. (Mechanical) / Diploma in Mechanical / Diploma in Tool & Die.

2. Age - 27 Years to 35 Years

3. Experience 8 Years to 10 Years (Minimum 6 years in Injection Mould Design)

4. Area of Exposure Plastic Injection Mould/ Die cast - Design.

5. Preferred Industry Plastic Injection Mould & Die cast mould Manufacturing

Job Title: Injection Mould Design Engineer

Overview:

The Injection Mould Design Engineer is responsible to develop Injection & die cast mould design concepts, and complete fabrication ready 3D design files. Moulds are intended for very high productivity application, typically multiple cavity hot runner designs. Designers will incorporate state-of-the-art mould making technology, metallurgy, and innovative new mould design strategies. The role will involve understanding key design requirements, leading the development of mould design layouts and concepts, and fully engineering the complete mould design.

Essentials Functions:

  1. Develop mould design concepts consistent with SPI 101/401 class injection moulds, where moulds will typically run in very high productivity operations for extended tool life [exceeding 5 million cycles].
  2. Work with program managers and customers to fully understand moulded part design requirements and integrate these requirements into mould design.
  3. Leverage Modeling and Simulation studies, run by other experts, to improve and optimize mould designs for productivity and longevity.
  4. Develop and integrate new mould design approaches, and new mould design technology.
  5. Corrective action after trials
  6. Achieve PIST Level 80% above in T0 trial .
  7. Should have experience in working any software like CERO (Pro-E) / U-G (Unigraphics) / Solid Works/ AUTOCAD.
  8. Should have knowledge in Splitting Core and Cavity, Electrode Extraction, DFM , BOM & Mould base.
  9. Should be able to release the Mould Design in 3D .

  8. Ability to work with outside vendors.
