About the role

We're looking for a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team as intern and help us bring our creative visions to life. You'll be instrumental in shaping the final look and feel of our video content, working on a diverse range of projects from like commercials, social media content, corporate videos, or documentaries.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging video productions.
  • Collaborate closely with creative teams to understand project requirements and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Craft compelling narratives through strategic cuts, transitions, pacing, and the integration of graphics, music, sound effects, and dialogue.
  • Adjust color grading, audio levels, and visual effects to enhance the overall quality and impact of the video.
  • Optimize videos for different platforms (social media, broadcast, web) and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Manage and organize video files and project archives efficiently.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing software, techniques, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for video projects.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects and editing styles.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and post-production workflows.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a passion for visual storytelling.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in film studies,
    communication, or a related field.
