Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kolkata for a Civil Engineer – Road Construction. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all stages of road construction projects, from planning to completion. This includes conducting site analysis, preparing construction plans, ensuring adherence to safety standards, supervising staff and contractors, monitoring project progress, conducting quality control assessments, and addressing any issues or hazards that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Experience in road construction, site analysis, and preparation of construction plans
  • Knowledge of safety standards and quality control measures in civil engineering
  • Skills in project management and staff supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address construction issues
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
