Company Overview:

We are a growing freight forwarding (logistics) company providing end-to-end international logistics solutions including air and sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation. With a strong presence across India (Mumbai, Ludhiana, Delhi), we are expanding our team in Ludhiana and seeking a Documentation Executive.

Job Summary:

The Documentation Executive will be responsible for handling all export and import documentation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and timely coordination with customers, shipping lines, and customs authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and verify export documentation such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading / Air Waybill, Certificate of Origin, etc.
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, CHAs, and transporters to ensure timely movement of cargo.
  • Handle pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation as per customer and customs requirements.
  • Prepare and release Draft / Final BLs and AWBs after verification of shipment details.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations, Incoterms, and customer requirements.
  • Liaise or co-ordinate with clients for document collection, verification, and approval.
  • Track and update shipment status in the system and share updates with customers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of all export shipments and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for billing and payment follow-up related to shipments.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of export documentation procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, email correspondence, and logistics software.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduate in Commerce / International Business / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in documentation (Export) with a freight forwarding or logistics company.

Working Days:

Monday to Friday (Work from home on Saturdays)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
