The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in C# and Selenium WebDriver, along with a deep understanding of test automation best practices in Agile development environments. You will play a key role in building robust test automation solutions that ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our applications.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesAPI Test Automation: Design, develop, and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured and Java, covering a wide range of scenarios including happy path, edge cases, and negative testing. Authentication & Security Testing: Validate secure API endpoints using OAuth2, JWT, API tokens, and perform authorization checks. Test Framework Design: Build and maintain modular, reusable, and scalable test frameworks following best practices such as Data-Driven Testing, Builder Pattern, and custom assertion libraries.

Response Validation: Validate status codes, headers, response structures (JSON/XML), schemas, and payloads for correctness and performance. CI/CD Integration: Integrate API test suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) to ensure test execution on every commit, build, or deployment. Mocking & Stubbing: Use tools like WireMock or MockServer to simulate third-party services and validate API behaviors in isolated environments.

Performance Testing Support: Collaborate with performance teams to support API load testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling. Defect Reporting & Triage: Analyze failures, file detailed bug reports, and collaborate with developers on debugging and RCA.Version Control & Code Quality: Use Git for code versioning and follow best coding practices for automation scripts. Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with developers, backend teams, and QA peers to define test cases, acceptance criteria, and ensure traceability and visibility into API test coverage.

Must-Have Skills7 years of experience in software testing with 5 years in API automation using Rest Assured and Java. Proficient in Java programming, test annotations (TestNG/JUnit), and build tools (Maven/Gradle). Strong command over Rest Assured, HTTP methods, JSONPath, and response validations.

Expertise in testing RESTful APIs including status codes, authentication, data integrity, and edge case scenarios. Hands-on experience in designing custom test automation frameworks for APIs. Experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).

Familiar with tools like Postman, Swagger, and API contract validation. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and log analysis skills. Familiar with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.

Good to HaveExposure to contract testing tools like Pact or schema validation libraries. Experience with WireMock, MockServer, or service virtualization. Basic knowledge of performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.

Familiarity with Dockerized test environments
