Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications by working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web.

* Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.

* Conduct backend/database testing using SQL to validate data integrity and business logic.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features with high quality.

* Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.

* Analyze test results, identify defects, and log them in tools like JIRA or similar.

* Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing as required.

* Review requirements and design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

* Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for QA processes and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

* 3+ years of experience in QA or software testing.

* Proven expertise in Manual Testing, with a deep understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.

* Strong hands-on experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, etc.

* Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for Database Testing.

* Good understanding of Agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban).

* Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and mentor junior QA team members.
