Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities include:

  • 1. To Assist Proving Ground (Special Roads) team in planning and coordinating of the Maintenance works & Execution of New Projects.
  • 2. On site supervision and analyse data (Surface Characteristics, reports, tests, drawings, comparison and other). Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
  • 3. Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to project closeout, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • 4. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • 5. Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure proper execution of project plans.
  • 6. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, IS codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • 7. Conduct cost estimates for proposed construction projects.
  • 8. Ensure that all necessary approvals, permissions are obtained prior to the commencement of construction activities.
  • 9. Resolve any construction-related issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the execution/maintenance.

Desired Skills:

  • 1. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • 2. Knowledge of Road / Highway related work with understanding of drawings, Estimation, Planning & Execution
  • 3. Ability to manage on-site construction works, materials and document management.
  • 4. Basic Knowledge of relevant specification for the road and highway works.
  • 5. Hands on experience on Windows, MS Office.
  • 6. Familiarity with MoRTH and IRC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • 7. Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • 8. Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, detail-oriented and highly organised, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Educational Qualification:

  • ? BE / B. TECH in Civil Engineering
  • ? Minimum 10 years of experience in Expressway / Highway Projects
