We are a fast-growing Food & FMCG brand dedicated to delivering quality products and creating exceptional experiences for our customers. Our finance team plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and accurate reporting to support business growth.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in FMCG or food-related businesses and will be responsible for bookkeeping, GST/TDS compliance, payroll, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day accounts including bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger management.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash & fund flow.
  • Handle petty cash management and expense tracking.
  • Ensure GST & TDS compliance, including filing returns on time.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual account finalization.
  • Generate MIS reports and provide actionable insights for management.
  • Collaborate with auditors and ensure readiness for internal and statutory audits.
  • Assist in payroll processing, including salary calculation, PF/ESI deductions, and payslip generation.

Must-Have:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in Food / FMCG / D2C brands.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP FICO / Oracle / Zoho.
  • Exposure to D2C / FMCG inventory accounting and cost tracking.
