Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing Trainer to deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training to students, aligned with industry standards, ITI curriculum, and skill development frameworks. The trainer will be responsible for building students' technical competence, safety awareness, and employability readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and hands-on training in plumbing systems and practices
  • Train students on water supply systems, drainage, sanitation, pipe fitting, fixtures, and plumbing tools
  • Demonstrate installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
  • Follow ITI / NSQF / industry-aligned curriculum and training modules
  • Conduct practical assessments, internal evaluations, and skill tests
  • Ensure workshop safety, proper tool usage, and housekeeping standards
  • Maintain training records, attendance sheets, and assessment reports
  • Support students in skill certification and employability preparation

Required Qualifications

  • ITI (Plumber Trade) OR
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering

Note:

  • B.Tech candidates are NOT eligible for this role

Experience

  • Minimum 1–4 years of relevant experience
  • Industry experience and/or training experience preferred

Technical Skills Required

  • Reading plumbing drawings and basic layout interpretation
  • Installation of GI, CPVC, UPVC, and PPR piping systems
  • Knowledge of sanitary fittings, valves, traps, pumps, and accessories
  • Water supply and drainage systems
  • Leak testing, pressure testing, and fault troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of plumbing codes and safety practices

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and teaching ability
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple and clear language
  • Student-friendly, disciplined, and professional approach
  • Willingness to upgrade skills as per new technologies and standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an ITI Instructor / Skill Trainer
  • Certification under Skill India / NSDC / Sector Skill Council (SSC)
  • Experience working in vocational training institutes or industrial training centers

Salary

  • As per industry (training) standards
  • Commensurate with qualification and experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹22,000.00 per month
