About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Junior Video Editor with hands-on skills in short-form content editing, Instagram Reels, and ad creatives. This role is perfect for someone who loves experimenting with hooks, understands the social media audience, and has a good sense of design, fonts, and trends.

You will work closely with the Social Media Manager, Videographer, and Content Strategist to produce scroll-stopping videos and engaging content for Instagram and other platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Editing Tasks

  • Edit Instagram Reels & Ads in multiple formats (1:1, 4:5, 3:4, 9:16).
  • Select raw clips, cut to beat, sync with trending music, and add subtitles.
  • Apply Premiere Pro transitions, text overlays, and trending effects.
  • Ensure high hook rate and average watch time in every video.

Creative & Design Responsibilities

  • Show strong creativity in font selection & font pairings, following modern style trends.
  • Create festival posters (Indian & global events) with strong visual appeal.
  • Repurpose influencer shoots into ad creatives.
  • Suggest meme-based content and creative video ideas for niche brands.

Technical & Software Usage

  • Adobe Premiere Pro (Intermediate): Cutting, sequencing, beat sync, overlays, transitions, subtitles, AI tool usage.
  • Adobe After Effects (Entry Level): Animation effects, elements, template customizations.
  • Work with third-party template sites (Envato, Motion Array, Mixkit) and integrate MOGRT files effectively.

Strategy & Teaming

  • Analyze trends, hooks, and viral content patterns to integrate into edits.
  • Collaborate with social media manager & creative team for planning.
  • Maintain daily reporting of completed edits and tasks.
  • Bring team spirit, leadership qualities, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Tools You Must Have:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro Intermediate (cutting, transitions, overlays, subtitles, beat sync).
  • Adobe After Effects – Basic to Entry Level (motion graphics, animations, templates).
  • Strong understanding of MOGRT files, Envato/Motion Array templates.
  • Creativity in fonts, posters, transitions, and social media trends.
  • Knowledge of trending songs, viral hooks, scroll-stopper techniques.
  • Ability to deliver festival creatives, meme edits, and ad campaigns.
